Position

The role


Reporting into the Head of Finance, this is a key position in the management accounting team which prepares monthly management accounts, financial analysis and other ad hoc tasks.



Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts for the UK Group, including:
  • Perform monthly revenue reconciliation.
  • Perform monthly cost analysis, ensuring that costs are correctly accounted for and accounting adjustments made as required.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review by the Head of Finance
  • Update the fixed asset register with monthly capital expenditure additions and post depreciation
  • Assist with systems and process improvement projects
  • Assist with short term cashflow forecasting
  • Prepare information for and assist in the completion of the annual external audit.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests from the wider finance team

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail

Key technical skills needed:


  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience of working with an accounting system
  • Relevant accounting experience, understanding of double entry
  • Part Qualified – ACCA, ACA, CIMA but will consider QBE (qualified by experience)
  • Experience working in a monthly recurring revenue organisation is desirable
