Head of Agile Delivery (Product)

Your role

As Head of Agile Delivery (reporting into the CPO) you will have experience of working with senior leaders, stakeholders and third parties to drive the agile strategy across the business through a solid coaching background as well as demonstrating your leadership qualities in building and running teams.

With a background as a Product Owner or Agile leader you will be part of the senior leadership team and champion the agile product frameworks (Scrum, Kanban and SAFe) within the team, ensuring that Agile principles are practiced by peers and understood by stakeholders.

In addition, you will be an SME who will own the RAID framework within technology and delivery and can remove blockers, solve problems and make decisions for their teams while also defining and executing the strategy for your discipline and ensure compliance with delivery best practice and competency across the product and technology function.

What you’ll do:

• You will support Technology and Product to oversee full life cycle of projects, from concept/Idea to business case, to product.
• You will work closely with product managers, owners, and engineering to deliver the technology roadmap with a focus on velocity.
• You will own the backlog, plan, execute and review workstreams, mapping out and prioritising key deliverables and milestones.
• You will prepare executive summaries and track KPI for deliverables.
• You will manage complicated workloads and projects using agile methodologies and tooling.
• You will be empowered to remove blockers, make decisions, and solve problems, optimising team efficiencies.
• You will influence senior business stake holders and decision makers.

Your skills and experience

• Certified SAFe agilest (or similar).
• Industry experience working in MSP/Digital/DX.CX business.
• Understanding of business technology around cloud, communications, connectivity, and security in an MSP/SI landscape.
• Background in working in agile enterprise and product delivery teams.
• Previous experience of management and mentoring junior members.
• Strong decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stakeholder management.
• Be calm under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities and timeframes.
