Position

The role


In this role, you’ll manage a team of 5 marketing professionals and lead on the development of all marketing plans and ensure the implementation of effective marketing strategies. Focusing on growing audiences and the uptake for products and services.


You will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, and other Executive members to redefine and improve the structure of the team and processes to ensure ROI and growth is achieved.


Responsibilities include:


  • Strategy; turn business objectives into a robust and effective marketing strategy to help the business achieve its goals.
  • Budget; manage and report on the marketing budget.
  • Team Management; lead and motivate a full-time marketing team of five.
  • Agency Management; be responsible for the output and performance of our content and digital marketing agency.
  • Stakeholder Management; work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders across sales and product management to ensure there is buy in and understanding about future marketing campaigns.
  • Sales Support; support the sales team with collateral and content to help them convert more prospects.
  • Demand Generation; utilise a variety of tactics - ABM, paid social, events, webinars and email marketing - to generate MQLs and drive pipeline growth leading to incremental sales.
  • Digital; be responsible for the website, ensuring content is optimised for SEO, and build our presence across our social channels - LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Analysis; track and report on traffic, CAC, MQLs, conversion rates, attribution and pipeline growth as well as customer behaviour.
  • Any other task as reasonably directed by the CCO or other Exec member.

Our ideal candidate will come from a similar role in a similar sized organisation within telecoms or technology, you should be at the top of your game and be ready to deliver real transformation.



Requirements

Key Personal Skills:

  • The ability to develop strong relationships with cross departmental team members to enable collaboration, advice sharing, and directional leadership where required.
  • Great communication, time keeping and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative working style.
  • An ultra commercial focus.

Key Technical Skills:

  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to articulate success effectively with C-Suite members.
  • Experience focusing on the ROI of marketing, able to analyse and report on data, to then optimise approaches effectively and demonstrate success via KPIs.
  • B2B focused marketing experience, generating leads through organic and digital marketing, events and other channels.
  • Experience in leading your teams’ day-to-day duties and responsibilities, as well as project managing larger ad hoc projects.
  • The ability to use software packages competently, including Hubspot and Salesforce
  • Experience with internal marketing and communications, employer brand and awareness.
  • Industry knowledge - telecoms, SaaS, technology is highly desirable
