Position

The role


In this role, you’ll maintain and grow a range of M247 Enterprise Accounts, to exceed targets whilst delivering unparalleled customer experience.

In this key position, you’ll play an important role in driving the ongoing growth and success of our business.


As the ideal candidate, you’ll be accustomed to creating sales opportunities for multiple products and services, with a primary focus on cloud/UC/security solutions. As part of an ambitious and expanding business, this is an ideal opportunity for a highly motivated account manager to take the next step in their career.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively qualify and close new business opportunities within your target set of accounts
  • Responsible for full sales cycle from proactively generating lead to closing orders
  • Management of the quality of overall deliverables and pursuit strategy throughout the whole sales process from engagement, bidding, close and hand over
  • Work closely with Solutions Architects to perform presales feasibility assessments of how well M247 solutions meet the customer requirements and what adaptations would be required
  • Maintain clear business understanding of your customers business needs and how M247 fits in with them
  • Where appropriate work with M247 product teams to develop new propositions to meet needs of customers
  • Building and maintaining strategic account plans for focus accounts
  • Understand, engage and develop relationships with other relevant parties engaged within your customer base that can assist your overall sales execution
  • Generate case studies and Customer focussed PR activity to highlight M247’s capabilities across it’s prospect base
  • You’ll follow internal processes for forecasting, orders, pre-sales, updates and developing account plans, whilst updating Salesforce and the organization on what will be required to grow and retain the customer.
  • You’ll champion your customer’s perspective and position internally, whilst establishing clear contact plans to ensure that M247 has appropriate relationships with technical, business management, influencers, and decision-makers.

Requirements

Key technical skills needed:



  • Proven Account Manager skills in Managed and Professional services across high performing telecoms and cloud solution teams.
  • 5 yrs+ of Acquisition Sales experience, demonstrable in sales credentials
  • Ability to build and gain customer engagement and sign off on strategic account development plans
  • Proven account development skills. Must be able to qualify and close business opportunities
  • Delivering profitable, long term business opportunities through effective account planning.
  • Proven ability to identify sale opportunities, qualify sales leads and exceed targets.
  • High levels of researching, networking and relationship building.
  • Brilliant interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Industry awareness, with the ability to identify market trends, threats and opportunities.
  • Responding to RFIs, RFQs and working with peers on negotiating and drafting commercial contracts.
  • Completion of recognisable professional sales training and wide sales process knowledge
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or relevant commercial experience
