Position

The role

You will play a key role in securing our M247 core services, developing vendor relationships and the inputting into the overall strategic plan for cyber security. You will work closely with the Cyber Security Product Manager, Risk and Compliance Manager, Network & Cloud COE’s and operational teams to constantly review and improve our overall value proposition.


The person will be responsible for the day to day running of the team and own the full lifecycle process for customer projects, working alongside our pre-sales team to define the managed security service wrap for new prospects, configuring the security services as per design, fine tuning and customer transition to live. The team will be responsible for managing the security solution in life and supporting service reviews (customer success management) with core customers.


Working at M247, you will have major exposure the latest technology and seen as a key decision maker. The role will provide a continuous learning and development opportunity for the right person to contribute to the design and delivery of our secure and robust cyber security solutions. The individual will join us on our strategic journey of moving from a IPS to MSSP.

Requirements

Key technical skills needed:

  • Experience in a technical lead role
  • Management of customer cyber security solutions
  • Detailed experience in Microsoft security suite (Azure, Lighthouse, Graph, Secure Score)
  • Working knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate / FortiAnalyser / FortiSoC
  • Working knowledge/experience of vulnerability assessment / penetration testing
  • Working Knowledge/experience of XDR / MDR strategy with associated Cyber Security Incident Response planning
  • Knowledge/working experience in managing CVE assessments
  • Knowledge/working experience in current compliance frameworks (ISO27001/2, Cyber Essentials, NIS, Telecoms Security Act, NIST etc)
