Your role

In this exciting Pre-Sales Solutions Architect opportunity, you’ll be a technologist who helps ensure our customers’ businesses thrive whilst M247 become their trusted IT business partner of choice through our vision, thought leadership, strategy and sound technology advice.


As the ideal candidate, you’ll be an accomplished Pre-Sales Solutions Architect or similar professional, who’s passionate about technology, innovation and exceeding customer expectations, whilst being able to demonstrate a proven track record of success and business growth.


What you’ll do:


  • You’ll collaborate with sales colleagues and customers from initial contact, ideation and design of solutions, through to implementation with our expert engineers and consultants, to ensure the end to end customer journey is best in class and showcases our full solutions portfolio.
  • You’ll partner with the Sales Team to run an M247 franchise, whilst maximising all opportunities through understanding and capturing our customer's technology requirements, whilst aligning them to business objectives and ambitions.
  • You’ll provide strategic vision and thought leadership, demonstrating and articulating the benefits of future, emerging and disruptive technology.
  • You’ll be project focused, from initial opportunity scoping, high-level design attaining trusted technology advisor status for our customers.
  • You’ll produce customer-facing high-level designs and support the sales team in presenting proposed solutions, both written and verbal, including demonstrations and proof of concepts.
  • You’ll occasionally be required to be hands-on with customer solutions during delivery or support phases to ensure a high-standard customer experience.
  • You will understand the customer sales cycle and sales qualification processes.

Your package and perks


  • £60,000 - £65,000 (negotable) basic salary.

Requirements


Your skills and experience


Should have


  • Proven as a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect or similar, with UC&C Primary Specialism (MS Teams, Contact Center, SIP, SBC, Omnichannel).
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, focused around Microsoft.
  • Solid grounding in networking, LAN/WAN technologies including SDWAN.
  • Business and commercial acumen, with an understanding of customer sales cycles and accurate analytics and reporting.
  • Ability to ask probing questions and identify customer objectives and obstacles to understand their full requirement.
  • Ability to solve problems, work well under pressure and out of your day-to-day comfort zone.

Nice to have


  • Worked for an IT service provider (ISP, MSP, integrator etc) or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, number porting, call recording, SIP trunking and omnichannel contact centre solutions.
  • The design and proposal of medium to large scale VoIP architectures, including the migration of legacy systems to modern architectures.
  • Awareness of security posture and cyber risks.
  • Understanding of AudioCodes SBCs.
  • Evolve IP / Broadsoft (Cisco) solutions.
  • ipCortex / Asterisk.
  • Core networking understanding – CCNA or equivalent.
