Commercial Executive - Cloud, Host and Procurement

Are you an experienced and talented Commercial Executive, who’d relish the opportunity to work for a progressive, market-leading technology solutions business? If so, then read on…

Based in the Manchester region, you will work with the wider team to provide support to our Stakeholders across the UK organisation.


What you’ll do:

  • You’ll manage the commercial relationship with M247's suppliers and indentify and deliver cost saving opportunity.
  • You'll develop supplier relationships through regular reviews and dialog with suppliers at mutiple seniority levels,
  • You'll develop and drive commercials supplier strategy to maximise supplier potential and augment M247's product or infrastructure strategy.
  • You'll drive onboarding of new suppliers to enhance M247's buying capability.
  • You'll develop and improve the commerical teams processes and impact within M247.
  • You'll partner with Business Functions to support in procurement of internally consumed services.
  • You'll assist or project manage strategic programmes and operational changes to drive down cost, as well as product launches by engaging with stakeholders internally and externally, as and when required.
  • You'll track and manage supplier performance and targets by producing MI for visibility to the wider organisation.
  • You'll manage and support on supplier escalations and disputes to an acceptable outcome.
  • You'll own the creation and development of an ongoing departmental improvement plan.
  • You'll understand infrastructures capacity management roadmap and development commercial strategy to support.
  • You'll understand the commercial and contractual supplier requirement, providing commerical risk and management of that risk, through understanding liabilities.

Requirements

Your skills and experience

  • Experience within a commerical management position
  • Knowlegde and experience of product - Cloud and Host
  • Knowlegde and experience of procurement - Infrastructure and Facilities
  • Desirable but not essential use of Azure, AWS, Vmware, TechData, SuperMicro, EUNetworks, SF, FF, SN, Zayo, Zerto and Coesity.
