Position

Purpose of Role


To provide a highly professional and exceptional service to customers both internally and externally.


Role Summary


This is a broad customer facing role within CSD dealing with a wide range of tasks. The individual will be required to be flexible and demonstrate supportive and effective teamwork in achieving the day to day work objectives of the department.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Support the CSD Team Leader in providing a day to day administrative service to the operational/scientific teams
  • To respond to customer queries and follow departmental procedures with a high level of accuracy in what is a strictly regulated environment
  • Ensure excellent customer service is consistently provided to all internal and external customers
  • To coordinate the efficient administration of exhibit management with emphasis on continuous improvement
  • To meet, greet and register all KFS Visitors in adherence with KFS security policy and guidelines.
  • Coordinate an efficient telephone, postal and stationery service
  • To support general administration tasks as required
  • Liaise with CSD teams at other KFS sites to ensure effective work-flow.

Qualifications & Experience


  • GCSE Maths and English essential. Previous customer service experience desirable

  • Salary £20,050 per annum
  • Hours – 37 per week
