Jungle Creations works with clients including the likes of Diageo, McDonald's and Unilever, to help them reach its audiences through impactful and engaging branded content which has seen the company win The Drum's sought after 'Branded Content Team Of The Year' for the last four years in a row. Today the business has branched out into many offline ventures including Twisted: A Cookbook, delivery only restaurant business; Twisted London, and a Twisted IPA in collaboration with Brewgooder. Jungle Creations is also home to The Wild, an award-winning social media-first creative agency that helps brands turn heads and make it matter, specialising in social media management, multi-platform creative campaigns, branded content, production, influencer, and performance marketing.

We are looking for a Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller in ensuring that the Finance function is a world-class, best-in-industry operation. They will have broad involvement in ensuring that processes and procedures are adhered to in order to ensure that accurate and relevant information is reported to the business.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to and working closely with the Financial Controller, where you will be involved in all aspects of the finance function ensuring all postings to the ledgers are accurate and Management reports are produced in a timely manner. Jungle Creations needs high-quality support services in place across the organisation, which are not simply fit for purpose but act as exemplars to others.

• Month-End, responsible for Xero posting. Includes but is not limited to bank reconciling journals, accruals, prepayments and recharges.

• Management Accounts, prepare consolidated and departmental management accounts, Including an analytical review of results and commentary, and communicate underlying trends to the FC.

• Intercompany Reconciliation, prepare month-end intercompany reconciliation.

• P&L, ensure accurate postings to the general ledger and provide insights into any variances.

• Revenue accounting, calculating and posting revenue based on a percentage of contract completion.

• Balance Sheet reconciliations, prepare month-end Balance Sheet reconciliations for review by the FC.

• XERO administration, ensure the data and functioning of the accounting system is up to date and reliable.

• Bank reconciliation, timely reconciliation of bank accounts on Xero ensuring all transactions are posted to the correct account and tax code.

• Budgeting, Providing support during the annual budgeting process.

• Process Improvement, explore and suggest ways to improve the day-to-day accounting processes.

• Ad hoc, carry out any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the FC.

• Post-qualified experience of proven all-round accounting competence in a multi-entity/ group environment ideally gained in a Media or Marketing business.

• Intermediate to advanced excel proficiency.

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent qualification.

• Familiar with UK GAAP.

• Strong interpersonal and business partnering skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
