Jungle Creations is an award-winning social media-first publisher that exists to create ideas that get people to thrive online and in the real world. With offices in London and New York, the company owns and operates a number of hugely popular media brands. They each create and publish content across a number of different passion points, from food to women's interests and fitness, and they include; VT, Twisted, Four Nine, Craft Factory, Level Fitness, Futur3ology and Lovimals, which together have amassed over 125 million followers worldwide.


Jungle Creations works with clients including the likes of Diageo, McDonald's and Unilever, to help them reach its audiences through impactful and engaging branded content which has seen the company win The Drum's sought after 'Branded Content Team Of The Year' for the last four years in a row. Today the business has branched out into many offline ventures including Twisted: A Cookbook, delivery only restaurant business; Twisted London, and a Twisted IPA in collaboration with Brewgooder. Jungle Creations is also home to The Wild, an award-winning social media-first creative agency that helps brands turn heads and make it matter, specialising in social media management, multi-platform creative campaigns, branded content, production, influencer, and performance marketing.

Position

The Head of Creators will be responsible for establishing and managing Jungle’s creator business. This role will be responsible for developing the creator offering and services, signing top talent and delivering new revenue streams to the business through this. The Head of Creators will also manage and grow out an internal team to help achieve the ambitious vision for this part of the business.

Jungle’s creator offering will primarily support Jungle’s media ambitions but will also support Jungle’s sales and agency teams where necessary.

The Head of Creators should be a self-starter with contacts and experience in the creator economy, someone who is business savvy and able to grow and scale new business ventures.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Director of Brands to establish Jungle’s creator model and strategy

  • Develop new services for creators that will drive new revenue streams and ensure Jungle have a point of different to competitors

  • Oversee the team to source and sign some of the best social creators in the world

  • Put in place a process for creator success, ensuring content is optimised and creators remain happy with the relationship

  • Establish the creator management offering, price point, contracting and opportunity

  • Raise the profile of Jungle’s creator offering with creators and in market

  • Build, forecast and manage the budget and profit and loss for the business unit

  • Work with commercial to productise the creator model in order to take to market for both branded content and agency sales

Background and Experience:

  • Experience working with creators and in creator/talent management

  • Experience working with content for social and understanding of platform algorithms

  • Experience managing a small team

  • Experience managing a budget and profit and loss

  • Experience building out a new product/business unit preferable

  • Deliver on ambitious 2023 creator revenue targets

  • Grow a network of ‘core’ creators by the end of 2023 within each vertical of the media brands

Post Covid-19 Plan

We have carried out a full risk assessment and put together a return to work plan as per government guidelines. We are aiming to open the office up more in July when government guidelines loosen but will be moving to a permanent hybrid working system. This will be partly working from home and part in the office. Each team differs in terms of their in-office expectations so feel free to discuss this during your interview process.
