Brandsafe, based in Milton Keynes is part of the IWS Group of companies. We supply and install safety & impact protection products to the warehouse and other industrial buildings sectors. The company holds a strong reputation in the market built on its proprietary product offer using a combination of plastic, steel and rubber and industry-leading service and support, from initial project scoping and design to installation and after-sales service. It serves general contractors and end-users of ‘mega shed’ warehouses as well as a network of resellers, in both the UK and Europe.

Position

Brandsafe is seeking Installation Engineers looking to continue or develop their career in the Safety, Security, Warehouse, and Construction sectors to support the growth of the business. This is a key role in the day-to-day success of the business and will focus on installation processes and practices that will deliver consistent quality, performance, and service to our customers in the supply of our products and services.

Our installation Engineers are required to maintain high standards of customer focus, ensuring the ‘customer experience’ of purchasing goods and services from BrandSAFE will induce repeat order potential. Essential day to day focus will center on:

  • Ensuring a full understanding of the scope of works to be completed on each project including scope of works, phasing, PC date and Early Access
  • Observation of on-site Health & Safety procedures from people through to machinery
  • Taking full account of site plans, RAMS and COSHH statements, and site induction training before work commences
  • Ensuring full understanding of the scope of works in line with detailed phasing for site installations to enable efficiency and productivity
  • Execute materials fixing and plant on site, installing to the high standards expected
  • Maintenance of tools, equipment, company vehicle and any van stock in line with policy

As an Installation Engineer you will feed back to the Project Delivery Manager at job completion to support a post implementation review after every project. The review will encompass both operational and financial factors to understand what worked and what did not work well, ensuring learning and develop centred on continuous improvement.

The key measurable elements of the the role encompass:

  • Weekly Site reports issued to the Project Delivery Manager for update of progress
  • Stock requirements confirmed to the Project Delivery Manager by specified cut-off time for shipping of goods the next day
  • Communicate any site variation requests to the Project Delivery Manager to organise
  • Control material and tools onsite and are secure where needed
  • Timely collection/processing of site returns before each project finishes on site is informed to the Project Delivery Manager
  • Any site issues or customer complaints to be communicated to the Project Delivery Manager in a timely way
  • Management of tools and logs in line with annual audit requirements

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with experience of installations, with relevant industry background including:

  • Workigng to site plans and specified scope of works
  • Onservation of RAMS and COSHH guidelines
  • Execution of materials fixing and handling plant on site
  • Phased installion projects
