We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with a PhD degree in Optics, Physics, Soft Materials, or related areas.
The postdoctoral researcher must show experience in optical microscopy, data analysis, programming languages (Matlab), and dielectrophoresis.
The researcher must show strong interest in research in science in the context of the EIC Pathfinder funded project FASTCOMET by the European Innovation Council (EIC), and within the following two objectives:
1) Identification of nanoparticles to categorize them into a set of particles with opposite dielectrophoretic characteristics in the same frequency window for selective writing.
2) Development of visualization techniques to track the position and motion of individual nanoparticles as well as their trapping behavior in individual nanocapillaries.
The candidate will work in an interdisciplinary and international environment with leading groups in the field. It is foreseen that the candidate will perform some research stays in our collaborator laboratories. The candidate will apply for other postdoctoral fellowships such as Juan de la Cierva (Spanish Government) or MSCA program (European Commission), as well as other similar Fellowships from other agencies.
