Context


INTO University Partnerships collaborates with leading universities in the UK and US, specializing in the development of world-class international student centers. Our focus is on delivering the highest quality student experience, preparing students for undergraduate and postgraduate studies at partner institutions and other prestigious universities worldwide. INTO operates a network of regional offices, supporting the recruitment of international students for our university centers.


Job Purpose

The Senior Recruitment Manager will lead recruitment efforts in India, working closely with regional office managers to develop and execute strategies that promote international student enrolment across the region. The role demands a dynamic, results-oriented individual capable of managing recruitment channels, developing key relationships, and achieving ambitious targets.


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve annual enrolment targets as defined during the budget process.
  • Collaborate with regional managers to develop and implement annual business plans for specific territories.
  • Act as an Account Ambassador, managing relationships with key agencies and organizations.
  • Attend and actively contribute to team meetings.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and business reports.
  • Identify and maximize sales and product development opportunities.
  • Manage the successful launch of new programs.
  • Provide monthly marketing and enrolment insights.
  • Facilitate communication between regional offices and INTO centers.
  • Build and nurture relationships with agencies, embassies, government bodies, and private sponsors.
  • Represent INTO at exhibitions, seminars, feeder institutions, and recruitment events.
  • Analyse and recommend marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Offer direct program counselling to prospective students where needed.


Customer Service

  • Ensure efficient, customer-focused application processes in collaboration with Central Admissions.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service for agents and stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve customer service standards across the organisation.
  • Present INTO in a professional and positive light at all times.

Profile

Essential Criteria

  • Proven success in business development and channel sales management.
  • Driven, results-oriented, and focused on meeting targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Customer service expertise.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong IT literacy, including MS Word and Excel.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
  • Experience working with international offices.
  • A second language relevant to the region.
  • Familiarity with selling complex, diversified portfolios.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in developing plans and programs within a customer service environment.
  • Proven ability to work with international students from diverse backgrounds.

Desirable

  • Professional qualifications relevant to recruitment or sales.
  • Experience working in student services or advisory roles with international students.

Skills & Knowledge

Essential

  • Strong understanding of the UK, US, or Australian higher education sectors.
  • Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with international marketing strategies.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers and senior managers.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with the challenges of language learning and living in foreign countries.
  • Salesforce experience or advanced knowledge of CRM systems.
