A bit of context:

Our Data Analytics, Market Research, and Insights team delivers expert and trusted support across our global operations. We support internal business customers, university partners, and external organisations in the sector. This exciting role focuses on providing insights business partnering to our Chief Recruitment Officer and the Global Recruitment Unit (GRU) leadership team, which manages our sales activities with thousands of recruitment partners worldwide.


Your Role:

As the Insights Manager (Recruitment), you will play a critical role in understanding the shifting landscape of international student mobility in the context of evolving geo-politics and national strategies for economic development and education. You will leverage this knowledge, coupled with strong analytical and business partnering skills, to help the Global Recruitment Unit team contextualise performance alongside market trends and explore growth opportunities.



The Responsibilities:

  • Influence Leaders: Provide compelling analysis to GRU senior leadership, helping them understand market trends and operational implications.
  • Track Trends: Monitor regional trends and their impact on recruitment activities and product offerings.
  • Creative Analysis: Source and analyse data from various sources to uncover new market insights and performance benchmarks.
  • Strategic Briefings: Consolidate market and competitor intelligence into clear, actionable briefings for decision-making.
  • Upskill Teams: Train regional offices on how to leverage market intelligence resources effectively.
  • Support Initiatives: Assist in the research and evaluation of new business and student recruitment initiatives to ensure strong ROI.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to research and thought leadership activities that position INTO at the forefront of international education.

About you:

  • Analytical Prowess: Ability to find compelling stories in data and present insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Innovative Mindset: Creative and forward-thinking, with a knack for identifying new opportunities.
  • Flexible and Collaborative: Comfortable working in a dynamic, global environment and building strong working relationships.
  • Sector Experience: Background in international sales or education, with a deep understanding of the higher education landscape.

Location:

The role is based in the UK, with the head office in Brighton for regular meetings, though remote work is supported. We are also open to the position being based in our Hong Kong office, home to several GRU leaders. International travel may be required, and flexibility is essential to accommodate global time zones.
