Position

JOB PURPOSE (ROLE DEFINITION):

The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for the management of suppliers’ documentation, working with suppliers to review and get the approval of required documents in line with procedures and ISO/ regulatory requirements. Support the goods-in-inspection process and coordinate with the suppliers to implement corrective actions for the non-conformity raised. Undertake a proactive approach with both internal stakeholders and suppliers to meet the compliance requirements of the supplier quality assurance processes.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure that mandatory suppliers’ information is updated in the Supplier Quality Management (SQM) module of eQMS.
  • Regularly review and update suppliers’ records on eQMS following standard operating procedures.
  • Periodic review of supplier certification, agreements, and other relevant documentation.
  • Support to ensure compliance with all applicable supplier quality standards, regulations, and internal procedures by proactively interpreting Quality requirements, and devising and implementing solutions to support the maintenance and enhancement of quality documentation.
  • To liaise with suppliers and other stakeholders on regular basis to obtain required certificates and agreements in a timely manner.
  • Support supplier selection, approval, and ongoing Supplier evaluation process.
  • Keep up-to-date records of supplier performance monitoring process in the eQMS.
  • Support when required on goods inward inspections following sops.
  • Support internal NCs and supplier corrective action report (SCAR) process.
  • Support the supplier’s return process for the non-conforming material.
  • Participate in project/new product stage gates where supplier info/deliverables are required.
  • Liaise with manufacturing on issues affecting supplier management activities.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications Required

Mandatory

  • Previous experience in the management of important documents and records.
  • Data analysis.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the Office365 suite

Desirable

  • Experience in using statistical/ data analysis to drive continual improvements.
  • Previous experience in using eQMS.
  • Previous experience with In-process or good-in-inspection processes.
  • Previous experience with NCR or SCAR process.
  • Previous experience in QA (ISO13485:2016)
