Job Purpose (Role Definition):

• To assemble and pack medical devices according to manufacturing and packing work instructions with regards to the operation being performed.
• Responsible for the completion of Route Cards. Ensuring that all lot and batch numbers and quantities are completed correctly.
• Complete Quality Control (QC) checks as required and recording on the Route Card.
• Work areas are cleared at end of production runs and all goods and components are correctly labelled and forwarded to the correct locations.
• Participate in the cleaning of the Cleanroom as per the Procedure and Cleaning Schedule

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To adhere to the Company Management System
• Read and understand any manufacturing and quality work instructions with regard to the operation being performed.
• Understand the quality requirements and their duties with regard to checking the quality of the work they produce.
• Responsible for informing the Production supervisor when unable to comply with the work instructions or quality expected.
• Ensure only components and sub-assemblies of acceptable quality are used in production
• Record sub assembly and finished goods output accurately and punctually to enable prompt feedback.
• Assist in development of improved production methods, processes and sequences under the Production Supervisor’s directions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement culture of the Company by working efficiently and changing work routines to achieve Best Practice
• Request training as required to increase work skills and develop personal training.
• Other duties as deemed necessary

Mandatory

• Knowledge of English both spoken and written
• Basic computer skills
