Company Description

Innovyze is looking for a virtual/in-person event coordinator to join the global marketing team. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for the strategy, planning, execution, and reporting of Innovzye's virtual/in-person events program. The role will work closely with third-party event planners, suppliers, clients and partners to ensure successful delivery of both live and on-demand webinars, as well as hybrid in-person/virtual events.

This position can be filled in either Portland, OR or Irvine, CA.

Position

Objectives

  • Develop and manage annual calendar of water industry related in-person and virtual events including tradeshows, webinars and user groups.
  • Manage tradeshow event abstract submissions, budget approvals, contract negotiations with venue, sponsorships, catering, audio-visual, signage and some on-site production.
  • Liaise with Sales Team to plan, determine KPIs and promote virtual and in-person events.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring campaigns and program success from events and webinars.
  • Be proficient in the virtual event landscape, aware of current trends, vendors and best practices for delivering virtual events

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated multi-event event management with firsthand experience and technical knowledge of leading virtual event platforms
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills - willing to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to be done.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate autonomously in a large, fast-paced, and unpredictable environment.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or communications
  • Interest in software/technology or water technology and the environment
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Working knowledge of HTML and design and email software
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
