Position

Summary

This Senior Accountant position is on our global Finance & Accounting team and based in our Portland, Oregon United States headquarters office. This role performs a wide variety of accounting and finance responsibilities on a global basis. The ideal candidate will have a history of progressively responsible Accounting roles with at least four years in a senior accountant position.

Responsibilities

  • Month end accounting close
  • Account and system reconciliations
  • Manage foreign currency transactions
  • Partner with Sales Operations to solve problems
  • Accounts Receivable lead including regional invoicing/receipts for complex activity
  • Systems admin for certain Finance systems
  • Worldwide consolidations and reporting
  • Support outsourced income tax preparation
  • Manage outsourced US compliance for sales tax, payroll taxes and business license registrations
  • Determine technical accounting treatments
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Develop new policies & procedures
  • Support integration with Autodesk
  • Additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent formal education in Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • Public accounting audit experience a plus (especially Big Four experience)
  • At least four (7) years in a Senior Accountant position or higher outside of public accounting
  • Strong fundamental accounting and bookkeeping skills and solid understanding of financial statements
  • Strong data manipulation/extraction and systems aptitude
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Strong critical thinking skills to solve problems and drive process improvements
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build teams with local and remote colleagues in the US and abroad
