About our AI Product  

Innovyze’s AI platform, Emagin, provides facilities with the ability to help their staff make smarter operational decisions in real-time when controlling their critical infrastructure. In doing so, we’re able to help utilities and heavy industry drive down their operational costs, enhance the reliability of services and reduce risks to public safety and the environment. 

Position

  • Learn & understand the commercial and technology drivers behind our AI platform 
  • Understand customer pain points and correlate them to our AI platform
  • Prospect Enterprise accounts, generate interest, qualify and develop new business in the utility and heavy industry sectors
  • Continuously grow and maintain a large sales pipeline 
  • Orchestrate a complex sale involving targeting appropriate customer personas within an account and leveraging internal tech resources and leadership 
  • Source new sales opportunities through conferences, industry events, outbound reach or cold emails to reach out to prospective customers.
  • Work independently to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned to the territory 
  • Maintain and retain long term client relationships; participating in retention and up-sell opportunities 

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent
  • Have worked in both large and small software / SaaS companies
  • Familiar with SPIN Selling and Target Account Selling methodologies preferable
  • Comfortable selling in a direct and an overlay role
  • Experience selling to both commercial and public sectors
  • You're an ‘A’ player with a proven 3-5 year track record of success selling Saas software applications  
  • Tech-savvy - you enjoy learning about new tech (particularly AI) and pay attention to not just the industry, but general tech trends 
  • You have tenacity, wit and energy to get in front of prime targets and build relationships with new and existing Innovyze clients 
  • You're a strong communicator that can interact with all levels or organizations.  
  • You're experienced with Salesforce (or an equivalent CRM)  
  • You're comfortable travelling (expect to travel 50-75% of the time within the territory)
