Position

Innovyze is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our Americas team. You will be responsible for maximizing the overall revenues for the assigned territory and maintaining and creating excellent business relationships. In this role, you will need to effectively manage and coach other team members and manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Business Development – Entire solution portfolio in the municipal/utility sector
  • Territory sales planning
  • Opportunity management
  • Inside sales team direction
  • Demand generation collaboration
  • Lead qualification
  • Accurate forecasting of deals for territory including those managed by inside sales
  • Collaboration with pre-sales technical staff
  • Handover to after-sales team
  • Key account management

Requirements

  • Highly accountable and disciplined
  • Puts sales theory into practice
  • Organizational mastery to manage many opportunities and constant inbound leads simultaneously
  • Works independently to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned to the territory
  • Leverages leadership as appropriate on major pursuits
  • Trusted advisor by way of sound understanding of client workflows and challenges
  • Communicates effectively and professionally internally and externally
  • Marshals technical and administrative team members to deliver KPIs
  • Ability to learn, retain and communicate water infrastructure engineering concepts
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 70%
  • Strong negotiator

Other information

  • Track record of success selling technical or enterprise software applications
  • Must have 7+ years sales experience
  • Previous success with complex sales involving 2-4 decisions makers and sales cycles of 3+ months
  • Experience delivering accurate sales forecasts at timescales of 1, 3 and 6 months
  • Experience leveraging partnerships as a sales multiplier
  • Trained in popular sales theory such as Sandler, SPIN, Challenger.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is valuable
  • Experience working closely with marketing teams to drive demand
  • Experienced in utilizing social media and online communication/sales technologies
