Company Description

There is currently a great opportunity for a product manager to join the hydraulic modelling and drainage team here at Innovyze. This role has a particular focus on the water supply solution set in the Innovyze portfolio.

As product manager you will be responsible for gathering and collating in depth insights of customer problems through a variety of channels. Once these are understood you will populate the product backlog with prioritised deliverables. Working collaboratively with User experience and development teams to deliver solutions helping our customers overcome barriers and enable them further as water experts is at the core of the role.

There are also many stakeholder needs, both internal and external to be met. As the ideal candidate you will have a proven track record of strong working relationships with global Sales teams and balancing their needs with vision and customer requests to enable success for all.

Delivery of solutions to market is achieved through close communication and planning with the marketing organisation. You will have a demonstrable wealth of market oriented activities to draw upon, especially where delivered through direct collaboration with marketing departments.

Position

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Data driven and evidence led decision making
  • Define customer and business problems
  • Balance various stakeholder needs to drive product direction
  • Drive business cases and garner support for these
  • Enable development teams through backlog management
  • Present effectively to various parties and audiences

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least five years’ experience with water supply modelling or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with agile development
  • Preferred engineering or comparable degree

Technical Requirements:

  • Competent user of InfoWater Pro and/or InfoWorks WS Pro
  • Comfortable with feature requirements definition
