The public relations and social media specialist is responsible for building and executing public relations and social media strategy for Innovyze.

The role will engage in relevant conversations on behalf of the Innovyze brand and drive interest among current and prospective customers.

The role is a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events.

You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. They will often act as the voice of our brand and support all community communications.

Position

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in our PR strategy but developing various types of PR content (media announcements, newsletters, and speeches)

Formulating high-quality novel written and visual content for each social media campaign.

Monitoring the company's brand on social media.

Building brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers.

Manage our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.

Responding to comments on each of our accounts.

Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.

Manage calendars (editorial, press conferences, events etc.)

Provide support and coordination of events.

Work with the thought leadership team on presentations and content strategy.

Edit and proofread press releases, videos and presentations.

Build and maintain long-term relations with clients, customers and media outlets.

Examine and document media coverage and track relevant PR metrics.

Maintain contact databases and mailing lists with updates.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Experience with building brands on social media platforms like LinkedIn and other community platforms.

BS/BA in public relations, communications or similar relevant field.

Experience with coordinating events.

Applicable knowledge of copywriting and editing.

Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills.

Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

Aptitude in presentation and public speaking.
