Main responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support for a Finastra ESSENCE application in a production environment
• Support COB processes, and assist in resolution of COB issues to meet the SLAs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues promptly
• Resolve other application issues
• Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to prevent potential disruptions
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution efforts.
• Work closely with internal Teams Finastra support to escalate and resolve critical issues, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders
• Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
• Perform routine system health checks, data validation, and integrity checks.
• Actively participate in on-call rotation, including night shifts, to provide round-the-clock support

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in similar roles
• Hands on experience in integrating Core Banking applications using Java EE platforms
• Proficient in Java / J2EE technologies
• Extensive experience in Web Services (REST), Microservices, XML based messaging, JHipster, UI Technologies (VueJS)and Spring framework such as Spring boot, Spring MVC, Spring security, Spring data, Spring Integration
• Well versed in OOAD using common design patterns
• Experience in databases like Oracle, DB2, Postgres
• Good communication skills and should be able to articulate the details and work well with the IT teams of the Bank or 3rd party vendors
• Coordination across teams is a must and hence should be a good team player
• Availability to travel and participate in projects in various territories
• Knowledge of Portuguese (proficient level) and English (intermediate level)

• Technical consulting and implementation experience in client facing projects is an added advantage
• Experience in Application Servers like JBOSS and Tomcat 7
