Position

We are currently recruiting for a Product Marketing Manager, the role is to ensure that Inenco’s products and services are turned into winning propositions; aligned to a defined client need and clearly articulated by salesforce and communicated to target audiences.  The role will underpin the forward development of our solutions sales through a clearer articulation and positioning of our products and services.

This role is Grade 6 and for the right candidate we are offering up to and including £39,000 annual salary, depending on experience.  Additional benefits include, pension, gym memeberships, retail discounts, buy and sell holiday scheme and many more. 

Requirements

Main responsibilities and Duties: - 

  • Marketing Planning: Develop marketing plans and campaigns to support the achievement of new business and business development targets. Providing market expertise to support the organisation’s investment decisions
  • Market Positioning: To ensure that our products and services are clearly communicated with clear value propositions and Inenco’s competitive advantage to the fore
  • Thought Leadership: Be a subject matter expert able to develop relevant content and act as a spokesperson for defined products – where required
  • Market Intelligence: Produce timely and accurate competitor information to inform the product development process
  • New Product Introduction: To develop Go To Market plans and co-ordinate their delivery and be the custodian of the NPD approval process – with appropriate gated signoff
  • Client Penetration: Understand our client journey and advise the sales team on the best routes to engage and farm our clients – and equip them with the tools to maximise sales conversion
  • Campaign Alignment – work alongside the other elements of the marketing function to ensure that our products and services are appropriately positioned within the prism of sector or client group specific campaigns.
  • Bid Development – Developing a clear articulation of our product propositions and their competitor differentiation
  • Product Development Scanning – working with procurement to assess supplier service extension opportunities.

 

Other information

  • Extensive experience in a similar or related role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject: Marketing, Business, Environmental Sciences – or relevant experience
  • An in-depth understanding of energy market dynamics and associated PESTLE factors
  • A proven ability to articulate complex propositions aligned to client need
  • A track-record of taking new products to market
  • Excellent communication skills with proven success of collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Excellent working knowledge Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills (ability to work to tight deadlines)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to achieve agreement and alignment from multiple inputs
