Position

Inenco have a new and exciting role to join our Marketing Team.  The successful candidate will be able to own the commercial and operational construct of Inenco’s product portfolio, ensuring that Inenco’s products and services reflect the changing needs of our markets and clients.

To deliver a sustainable competitive advantage through new product development through a range of services that are commercially viable, operationally deliverable and aligned to the organisation’s strategic goals and financial targets.

The tasks and responsibilities are listed below, they are not exhaustive and will be revised regularly. Duties may be amended to meet the changing needs of the business: -

  • Market Insight: Understand our markets and clients’ needs and propose new services that establish a sustainable competitive advantage
  • Competitor Analysis: Continually scan our competitors’ portfolios and propose responses to emerging threats
  • NPD Process: Define and lead the new product development process through appropriate gated sign-offs.  Collecting feedback and analysing data after launch to inform later iterations of the product. Drive product strategy and product road map definition with sales and marketing.
  • Existing Product Development:  Provide continued support on all previously developed products once in production
  • Product Introduction: Ensure that all new products have received appropriate due diligence to ensure commercial and operational viability.  Working with the Product Marketing team to plan and implement a marketing strategy, taking the product to the point where it can be successfully integrated with the business
  • Public Affairs: To engage with industry and regulatory bodies to best take advantage of a changing regulatory landscape
  • Product Knowledge Share: To educate and onboard our sales teams in our services (both new and existing)
  • Proposition Clarity: To develop and articulate service propositions in the language of the customer
  • Supplier Engagement: To establish and maintain relationships with third party suppliers to augment Inenco’s “inhouse” capability
  • Technical Expert: Be a subject matter expert to inform marketing campaigns and bid content

Requirements

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience: - 

  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject: Technical discipline e.g. Engineering
  • An in-depth understanding of energy market dynamics and associated PESTLE factors
  • Product lifecycle management experience of products
  • A proven ability to articulate complex propositions aligned to client need
  • The commercial acumen to identify routes to profitable sales
  • A track-record of thinking out of the box and taking new products to market
  • Project management of the delivery of new products against the requirements of the NPI (New Product Introduction) processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven success of collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Excellent working knowledge Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills (ability to work to tight deadlines)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to achieve agreement and alignment from multiple inputs
