Position

The role of Buisness Development Manager is a new role within the Inenco business - it's quite diverse in its responsibilities too.

Within our corporate business we have two key elements internally: Telephone Account Managers and Business Generation Executives. Each team is full of really talented people with seriously impressive energy experience. 

We see the Business Development Manager as someone who works between the two teams to enable growth on existing client accounts and to develop new appointments for field-based Consultants to win new business.

Requirements

  • To ensure monthly KPI’s are met by your team including: number of appointments, retention of accounts, upsell/cross sell opportunities etc
  • To create a working environment to motivate and drive a winning culture
  • Define a working schedule and methodology to deliver results
  • To implement a coaching process to continually create continuous improvement   
  • Regular and accurate forecasting of activity
  • Identify key clients and trends in the market, and create relevant and engaging campaigns ensuring they are effectively delivered
  • Manage the production of client pitch/tender documentation, and create best practice guides to be shared with the wider team
  • Support the Telephone account managers to develop and articulate new propositions for clients
  • Continuous development of, strategies and methods of working to maximise success in the Commercial Team
  • To identify and mitigate any commercial risk to the business, by applying experience and knowledge of the energy industry in partnership with the Commercial Sales Management Team
  • Work with relevant stakeholders and direct reports quality data is available to assist and enhance an efficient and effective performance
