Hope for Justice is seeking a creative and highly motivated individual to join our Global Digital & Communications team as Social Media Assistant.

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for executing empowering social media marketing plans and campaigns, with a particular focus on our U.S. audiences.

Hope for Justice is an organization that believes in the fight for freedom. We are fighting against human trafficking through an award-winning model across five continents that is preventing exploitation, rescuing victims, restoring lives and reforming society.

We have grown our social platforms over the last 14 years and our audience is made up of supporters seeking educational material, survivor stories and charity updates. As the Social Media Assistant, candidates should have experience in a similar position, coupled with a genuine passion for social justice. This is a perfect role for someone looking to excel in communications and social/digital, working with an expert team and closely with our Social Media Strategist on planning, strategy and engagement.

Profil

Engage with supporters and social users through content and campaigns that create an inclusive online community, empowered to take action. We want to be the best-in-class and lead the conversation, rather than just contribute to it. In this role as part of our Global Digital & Communications Team, you will be encouraged to break molds and push boundaries.

  • Research and create day-to-day social content to educate, inform and inspire action.
  • Plan and schedule weekly social content using publishing tools like Later and Hootsuite.
  • Manage and respond to community engagement including public comments, Inbox/DMs and replies.
  • Engage and interact on each platform to enhance the organization’s digital presence.
  • Support campaigns by assisting with social activation and influencer marketing.
  • Understand and act on social analytics and reports created internally or externally
  • Monitor social media trends to offer innovative ideas to enhance our content strategy.
  • Work at all times in line with organisational policies and procedures and the wider strategy, culture and ethos of Hope for Justice.
  • Understand and uphold the standards outlined in the Hope for Justice Safeguarding policies, acting with due care and attention to safeguard the wellbeing of anyone that comes into contact with our work and reporting concerns if they do arise.

Location: Nashville, Tenessee

Salary: Up to $32,448 depending on experience
