Position

Hope for Justice is seeking an experienced self-starter, team player and an “outside of the box thinker” to join the US team in a new role.

The Business Operations Manager is a key positon reporting directly into the Head of Operations and Risk and will lead the operations support in the US. The perfect candidate will have 3 years of experience in a similar role, reporting directly to senior management as well as demonstrate knowledge with budgets, IT responsibilities and have a meticulous attention to detail. Requirements

Operational Infrastructure

  • Assisting with the organizations IT requirements and support contract relationships.
  • Helping expand the organization’s remote communication requirements
  • Supporting the Head of Operations with the organization’s systems needs and helping with the prioritization and development of new systems and processes, managing upgrades, license renewals, project management and systems needs analysis.
  • Overseeing the office equipment and management processes

Policies and processes

  • Ensuring policies and processes are reviewed and updated in accordance with requirements
  • Ensuring policy owners work to complete accurate and relevant documentation in line with organizational need and legislative requirements
  • Assistance liaising with legal advice partners on operational matters when needed
  • Supporting NDAs / contracts for partners

Governance & Risk

  • Assisting with the Incident Management process and liaising with other departments to ensure incidents are accurately recorded and actioned
  • Contribute to the US organizational risk profile
  • Assistance gathering insurance requirements and helping monitor renewals
  • Ensuring compliance with necessary data protection practices
  • Oversight of the US Risk Register working with key stakeholders to understand and manage risk

Facilities Management

  • Ensuring the national lease directory is monitored and up to date
  • Working with the Office Manager to support landlord relationships and negotiate lease changes
  • Project management of office changes

Other Responsibilities

  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested
  • Line management of Office Manager
  • Supporting the Head of Operations and Risk
  • Understand and uphold the standards outlined in the Hope for Justice Safeguarding policies, acting with due care and attention to safeguard the wellbeing of anyone that comes into contact with our work and reporting concerns if they do arise.

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Salary: Up to $85,000 per annum, according to experience
