We are looking for individuals capable of being accountable for QA within their small scrum teams. You are on the critical path from analysis all the way through to release to production, as we utilise the Genesis platform to deliver world class solutions at incredible speed. We embrace the 'Three Amigos' pattern of working so your ability to collaborate as an equal with analysts and developers is just as important as your technical skills in test automation or ability to turn a client's vision into a concrete set of acceptance criteria.

How you’ll play your part

• Be involved in the full life cycle of software development.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers in the ‘three amigos’ pattern on BDD.
• Produce and execute test strategies, test plans, and implement test automation scripts as needed against the Genesis products and services.
• Coordinate the execution of Manual and automated regression testing, maintaining a build pipeline on our Continuous Integration system.
• Have a good knowledge of our business, services, and our customers’ needs.
• Play an active role in our cross team, global QA guild.
• Own a QA regime within your team which gives both stakeholders and colleagues confidence in the deliverable.
• Design, collect and automate the metrics

The experience you’ll bring

Technical

• Minimum 2-3 years of Automation experience with Java, Selenium , Cucumber with a Foundation level of ISTQB Certified or equivalent
• Expert in executing QA within an agile context.
• Experience of owning exploratory and manual testing.
• Proven track record of construction and verification of acceptance criteria.
• Experience in test automation tools, ideally for web GUI, API and performance testing.
• Competence in CI/CD pipelines especially integration of automated testing very useful.
• Experience to capital markets not essential but an advantage

Competencies

• Strong understanding of the latest trends in technologies and their role in a Capital markets environment.
• Very strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical persons.
• Must continually strive to acquire new skills in relevant technology and business.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to set own goals based on shifting priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidence and composure in stressful situations.
• Self-starter with strong sense of ownership.
• Scrum Master certification is a plus
