Currently we are offering an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our talented Sales team as an Account Manager on a salary between £35,000 - £45,000 depending on your experience.

The main responsibilities of the post include:

• Demonstrating an understanding of the global telecommunications market and its potential customer and customer network support solutions.
• Maintaining existing customer accounts, working with them to understand their business and through this develop new opportunities for Genesis
• Taking opportunities, translating this to Genesis staff both verbally and by report writing to achieve realistic solutions for all
• Breaking into and creating new business within the target regional telecommunications industry
• Building new accounts from infancy and then forward planning to achieve key requirements and business targets
• Once accounts have been established, you would work alongside bid managers to assist in the creation of customer agreements
• Producing and presenting accurate business forecasts & complex solutions to both internal and potential customers

Mandatory skills and experience:

• Knowledge of Telecom Carriers technology and working in general with procurement teams in a related industry.
• Proven sales experience particularly in growing new business
• Solid account and relationship development experience
• ONC/HNC/HND, degree or at least 3 years equivalent work experience
• Proficient in the use of MS Office
• Full driving licence
• Good communications skills across all medias
• Attention to detail, able to read and interpret complex written information
