Due to continued growth in the business we are looking to recruit a Renewable Energy Design Engineer.

Position

Renewable Energy Design Engineer – REF: 2118a

The Candidate will initially be involved in the following projects:

  • Development Projects in the areas of Biogas and Hydrogen
  • Feasibility studies and Front-End Engineering Design Studies
  • Development of Technical and Economic models for development projects

Career ProgressionThe Renewable Energy Design Engineer will have the opportunity to progress their career within Fingleton White to be involved in the various business sectors and to provide experience across a wide range of projects.

Fingleton White is an Engineers Ireland's CPD Accredited Employer and have systems in place to provide employees with targeted training and experience relevant to their grade. Support is also provided to achieving CEng through CPD and mentoring.

Requirements

The Candidate - The ideal candidate will have:

  • Engineering degree and Masters (Level 9 or higher) in mechanical, process, electrical, energy engineering or a similar discipline relevant to the specification above, granted by Engineers Ireland Chartered Engineer Accredited Programmes
  • 3+ years post-graduate experience
  • Experience (postgraduate academic or industry) in Anerobic Digestion, Biogas and/or Hydrogen would be preferable
  • Good academic record
  • Full clean driver’s license
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential

Other information

Location: The location for this role will be in our Cork office, however if a suitable candidate has a preference to be located in either our Dublin or Portlaoise office, this will be considered.
