Due to continued growth in the business we wish to recruit a CAD Technician

Position

CAD Technician – REF: 2001 CAD Tech

The successful applicant will receive, in parallel to project work, guidance & training to familiarise them with our company's methodology & standards in relation to the production of our drawings.

The role:

  • Use of CAD & BIM programs such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks amongst others, to produce high quality project drawings from Design through to As-Built stage by working in conjunction with & under the direction of our engineers.
  • The drawings shall cover all disciplines from Mechanical & Civil to Electrical & Instrumentation.
  • The role will include traditional 2D Drafting work using AutoCAD and use of Autodesk BIM software & 3D Modeling.
  • The successful applicant will work as part of our drafting team.

Fingleton White is an Engineers Ireland's CPD Accredited Employer and have systems in place to provide employees with targeted training and experience relevant to their grade.

Requirements

The Candidate - The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant 3rd Level Qualification (minimum Level 7 in Mechanical or Civil Engineering) &/or commensurate industry experience using Autodesk Software
  • 0 – 2 years post graduate experience.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Ability to work to agreed timelines and to a high standard.
