We support over 1000 partner organisations to carry out activities that drive urgent and ambitious policy in support of the objectives of the Paris Agreement, contribute to the public debate on climate action and help deliver a socially responsible transition to a net-zero economy and sustainable society in Europe and around the world.

Position

Context of the role

The Talent Acquisition will be responsible for sourcing, identifying and hiring top talent to fuel the growth of the foundation. Working closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist you will perform the following tasks:


  • Managing the full recruitment cycle: coordinate with hiring managers to determine the required profiles and the recruitment process, prepare job postings, source potential candidates, organise the selection procedure and conduct interviews, feedback to candidates, schedule tasks for candidates and manage reference requests.
  • Developing diversified talent sourcing and inclusive recruitments practices with all stakeholders involved in the recruitment process
  • Supporting the development of a talent acquisition strategy, looking at the competencies needed to achieve overall ECF strategic developmental objectives
  • Ensuring compliance to ECF recruitment standards and country labor laws
  • Proactively seek advice, offer solutions, and articulate necessary changes to refine recruitment process together with the HR team

Requirements

Experience and competencies

  • Genuine interest in climate change challenges and ECF’s mission
  • 5 years’ experience minimum in recruitment in an international environment
  • Strong international experience and ability to manage high volume hiring
  • Effective with technology and feel rapidly comfortable working with new software
  • Fast learner with a can-do attitude
  • Impeccable work ethics
  • Outstanding communication skills and fluent in English
  • Autonomous and able to work towards tight deadlines and changing priorities
