The European Climate Foundation (ECF) was founded in 2008 as a major philanthropic initiative to help tackle climate change by fostering the development of a low-carbon society at the national, European and global level.
We support over 280 partner organisations to carry out activities that contribute to the public debate on climate action, drive urgent and ambitious policy in support of the objectives of the Paris Agreement and help deliver a socially responsible transition to a net-zero emissions economy and sustainable society in Europe and around the world.
The ECF Strategic Partnerships team oversees the relationships with the funders, the board and key stakeholders.
The Director, Strategic Partnerships is looking for a motivated and eager Senior Officer who plays a key role in planning, executing, monitoring funders relationships projects. The Senior Officer acts as the guardian of the funding partnership lifecycle.
Under the supervision of the Director, Strategic Partnerships, the Senior Officer will have the following responsibilities:
Proposal project management
Data management and reporting
Support in funder and prospect management
A genuine interest in the mission and values of the ECF;
5+ years’ experience in project management and ideally experience within philanthropy;
Strong skills in managing and visualizing data and numbers;
Proven knowledge on project & data management tools is an asset;
Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills;
Pro-active, flexible, able to perform under pressure and a strong sense of responsibility;
A team player, but also able to work independently;
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
