Position

As a Financial controller you will provide day-to-day finance support to the Finance Team

( total 15 team members).

The accounting/ AP team consists of 4 team members.

You will report to the Accounting manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Co-Drive monthly closing activities and financial reporting
  • Responsible for various reconciliations and balance sheet specifications
  • Assist with preparation of annual close and annual financial statements
  • Assist with accounting manual & updating procedures and policies
  • Lead and drive any needed automation for transaction processing (banking, invoices.) or other automation needed for
  • Support the Finance Team by creating and updating records in the finance & grant systems
  • Register invoices & banks in the Bookkeeping system

Requirements

  • You have 5-7 year’s relevant experience in an audit or accounting/ controlling , preferably affinity with systems/ automation
  • You have a strong interest in climate and the environment
  • You have a degree in administration, finance or accounting
  • You are a proactive and enthusiastic team player, but also able to work independently
  • You have strong problem-solving skills with, attention to detail
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • You are a proficient user of the MS Office package with excellent Excel skills
