About the European Climate Foundation
The European Climate Foundation (ECF) was founded in 2008 as a major philanthropic initiative to help tackle climate change by fostering the development of a low-carbon society at the national, European and global level.
We support over 280 partner organisations to carry out activities that contribute to the public debate on climate action, drive urgent and ambitious policy in support of the objectives of the Paris Agreement and help deliver a socially responsible transition to a net-zero emissions economy and sustainable society in Europe and around the world.
About the role
The Land Use programme of the ECF is a new initiative to help Europe address greenhouse gases from the land-use sector, both in Europe and internationally. The programme will work with a wide range of partners in civil society, think tanks, business groups and the research community in support of positive action to change the debate about land use and climate change and to accelerate policy solutions in the areas of agriculture, food, forests and nature.
This role offers the opportunity to help shape the direction of a new programme and is a truly exciting opportunity for the right person to grow, develop topical expertise and build their network.
