Position

About the role

The European Climate Foundation’s (ECF) Strategic Partnerships team builds strong funding partnerships to power ECF’s impact.

The Strategic Partnerships (SP) team is looking for a temporary fundraising data and administrative officer to support the work of the team and the wider organisation with some short- and mid-term projects. The successful applicant will have the ability to coordinate internal processes, support information-sharing between internal stakeholders, and ensure excellent record-keeping in both databases and file storage systems.

Key responsibilities

The Administrative & Data Officer will:

  • Coordinate the review and signature of funding agreements with ECF’s funding partners according to an agreed process, collaborating with SP, programme, compliance and finance colleagues;
  • Help with SP’s record-keeping and document storage, including by reviewing and cleaning existing database records and digital storage;
  • Ensure communication with internal stakeholders including Strategic Partnerships and programmatic colleagues regarding new funding agreements;
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping of relevant fundraising and stewardship information in an internal database;
  • Provide support with the management and presentation of fundraising and income data;
  • Provide support ad hoc support as needed in the implementation of the ECF’s engagement plan towards donors (eg funding proposals and reports).

Requirements

Experience and competencies

  • A genuine interest in the mission and values of the ECF;
  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative role or data management (databases, Salesforce is a plus)
  • Experience in using fundraising CRMs is a plus
  • Highly organized, attention to detail, ability to set priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner, and to ensure effective communication with different stakeholders;
  • Pro-active, flexible, and a strong sense of responsibility;
  • A team player, but also able to work independently;
  • Excellent written English is mandatory
