Position

Eseye is looking for a Junior Data Analyst role who possesses good data analysis and analytical skills, good attention to detail, and a methodical and process-led approach to their work.

The Junior Data Analyst works as part of teams and individually, to develop, test, and maintain data-driven solutions to business challenges, leveraging AWS and other applications for analytics, BI, ETL, formatting, transformations, and other data-oriented solutions.

Reporting to Business the Head of Engineering, the candidate will work collaboratively with Engineering teams to support the delivery of effective and valuable projects in the organisation.


Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the investigation of corporate data requirements, documenting them according to the required standards utilising the prescribed methods and tools to provide insight, Implementing data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics and BI systems.
  • Ensuring that those using data structures and associated components have a good understanding and that any queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

  • Experience working in Agile environments/teams using SCRUM framework
  • Willing to take on, drive, and complete projects and tasks relating to Data transformation, Data Warehouse, BI, MI, AI, and Machine Learning
  • Willing to take and pass AWS certifications as necessary to the role
  • Strong SQL, T-SQL and query writing skills to intermediate level
  • Understanding of ETL and Data transformations
  • Experience in using GIT & Jira tools
  • Experience in, or understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lakes
