Our team is based at our Head Office just outside The Peak District National Park off jct28 of the M1 corridor.

Position

We are recruiting for two Regional Account Managers Southern UK to join Equip Outdoor Technologies UK Ltd, one role will represent Rab Equipment and Lowe Alpine and the other will represent Rab Clothing within your defined area.


These exciting, full-time positions require regular travel within your territory as well as travel to our Head Office in Alfreton and showroom in Kendal. Attendance at national and regional trade shows and events also form an important part of the roles as does some overseas travel.


You will be a key member of our UK Sales team, managing our wholesale partners within your territory, responsible for the sell in and ensuring sell through, through staff training to the highest standard.


You will work closely with the UK Marketing team to support your partners and our Customer Service team to ensure orders flow seamlessly from our warehouse to them.


You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively within your team, be a super communicator with strong presentation skills, and a love for the outdoors is a given.

Key Responsibilities of Regional Account Manager South (including but not limited to):


  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers to agreed targets.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships at all levels: buyers, managers, and staff.
  • Achieve seasonal sales goals in line with Company expectations.
  • Manage all aspects of the sell in and sell through following the set out seasonal timelines and support information provided, including the delivery of staff training.
  • Champion and present the Company brands using Marketing support and resources supplied.
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with key departments including Customer Service, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Participate in events such as product launches, trade shows, marketing events, etc.
  • Report and provide feedback to Sales Management on market, sales, and financial data.

Requirements

To join us as Regional Account Manager South you must have:

Essential:

  • Sales and market experience within the outdoor industry
  • Excellent relationship building skills for use with customers and internal teams
  • Good level of product knowledge and a true passion for the Outdoors
  • Strong working knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices and techniques
  • A natural ability to communicate clearly and confidently, in one-to-one situations, in front of large groups and on camera
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and independently
  • Good understanding of all main IT software, Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, Outlook etc
  • Ability to travel and attend sales events and tradeshows
  • Current full Driving Licence


Desirable:

  • Retail experience, ideally with one of the major National accounts
