Our team is based at our Head Office just outside The Peak District National Park off jct28 of the M1 corridor.

Great opportunity to join our busy Finance Team in this new role as Finance Manager! You will have overall responsibility of the UK Treasury, Accounts Receivable & Payable activities.

You will ensure that key month end and day to day activities are completed in a robust and timely manner ensuring effective treasury and cash flow management. The role will further integrate the international subsidiaries to drive business process improvements and initiatives.

Key responsibilities of Finance Manager (including but not limited to):

• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the finance function in respect of the purchase & sales ledger, payments and treasury function
• The monitoring and controlling of cash flow and oversight of rolling cashflow forecasts ensuring effective working capital management
• Management of foreign currency exposure through day-to-day management and FX hedging.
• Ensure accurate, timely and compliant management of all accounting transactions
• Take ownership and deliver continuous improvement of all transactional and key finance processes for the UK and overseas subsidiaries
• Challenge current processes and demonstrate a capacity to suggest improved and streamlined ways of working whilst managing stakeholder expectations
• Management, development, mentoring and support of the transactional finance team
• Provide support to the Group Financial Controller as required

To join us as Finance Manager you must have:

Essential

· Previous experience in a similar role including cashflow management & reporting

· Significant experience of managing and developing teams

· Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience

· Strong MS Office experience and knowledge including intermediate/advanced Excel

· A positive ‘can do’ attitude to establish key relationships with all stakeholders

Desirable

· Experience of using Navision

· Experience of working multisite in high volume/transactional finance function
