This role will be based at our Beringen office in Belgium.

Position

We’re looking for a results-driven and confident Financial Controller to join our Beringen office. The role will involve working closely with our Benelux and UK teams to drive improvements in our reporting, forecasting, financial management and control.

The successful candidate will be working very closely with the Managing Director of ENSEK Benelux and the CFO of ENSEK. You will be responsible for managing accounting records; identifying and mitigating risk; ensuring regulatory compliance; preparing financial statements; overseeing accounting operations; analyzing financial data; monitoring expenditure; forecasting revenue; coordinating auditing processes; and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.

Your insightful analysis will drive business decisions, supporting our organization to deliver growth whilst maintaining positive margins; formulate appropriate financial strategies; implement robust internal controls; and develop financial plans that align with organizational strategy.

Additionally, the candidate will support the business across multiple areas, from management reporting to process improvements and projects.

Requirements

Analytical

You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a flair for numbers and be highly organized,

Accounting Experience

You will hold a ACCA/CIMA or equivalent European qualification in Accounting, and have experience in corporate, regulatory and financial reporting; and budgeting and forecasting.

Compliance

Compliance orientated with excellent knowledge of accounting fundamentals and experience in the development of policies and procedures is critical.

Communication

As this role is based in Belgium, a good level of French and professional level of English is required. You will be a team player. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication at all levels and quality leadership skills are essential.


Other information

You will report to the Group CFO as well as to the Benelux Managing Director.
