We provide a wide range of solutions from signing up customers, taking meter readings and generating bills, to the roll-out of smart metering, managing revenue leakage and the interaction with energy comparison sites.

Position

We’re looking for a Business Controller to join the Beringen office. As a Business Controller, you will team up with the Account Managers and collaborate on a wide range of challenges raised by our clients, who are energy suppliers. Your support will be required across multiple areas, from managerial reporting to process improvements and in-depth investigations.

Our advisory services are focused on margin accuracy improving controlling, operational and settlement processes. We transform, analyse, integrate and visualise energy data based on the latest market standards. Our solutions enable energy suppliers to interpret, manage and control their gross margins for electricity and natural gas. The data crunching is monitored in Qlik Sense, providing all the flexibility and features to create state-of-the-art dashboards/cockpits.

Over time, you become responsible for managing the reporting of our customers’ energy margins. You will support in the creation of financial and operational management reports as well as ad-hoc analysis in order to provide internal and external stakeholders with all the necessary information.

You’ll be working with a wide range of energy suppliers located in the Benelux region, from big corporates to smaller scale start-ups, so you must bring well-honed stakeholder skills from day one

Responsibilities

  1. You’ll be responsible for several tasks within the monthly gross margin reporting of different clients, always assisted by an account manager
  2. You’ll work accurately and are only satisfied with deliverables of a high quality
  3. Regular client contact to discuss the monthly reporting or other topics

Requirements

Key Skills

Financial audit background

You will have a critical mindset and take ownership of your reporting. Experience as a financial auditor is a big plus.

Problem solver

You’re logistical and very solutions orientated - resolving issues is what you do!

Team player

You’re an excellent collaborator and enjoy delivering results as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Client Focus

You’ll love client contact! If you’re motivated by mixing with customers on a daily basis and you get satisfaction from meeting their needs and delivering services, then this is the job for you.

IT-affinity

Experience working with Qlik sense or another BI technology is a real asset, as is a passion for learning!
