We are looking for an experienced, career driven Supply Chain Manager to lead our Procurement function.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop Category Management Plans and implement projects that improve cost efficiency, sustainability, safety, stock control, quality and lead times
• Maintenance, development and adherence to the company procurement policy and procedures
• Foster and develop supplier relationships and monitor & review performance against supplier service level agreement
• Monitor contributing costs to products within categories to leverage opportunities to negotiate improved pricing
• Based at our site in Wellingborough

You will have:

• Minimum 2 years proven experience and demonstrated results in a procurement category role
• Desire to grow and develop in your career with Emplas and strong ambition for a Head Of position
• Experience of Demand Planning and application in a busy operational environment
• Ideally, knowledge or experience of the construction, manufacturing or home improvements industry
• CIPS or degree level qualification
• Excellent communication skills, have the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels, both external stakeholders and internally across the Emplas Group

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
