Emplas Windows Systems Ltd is a family run business established for 40 years supplying trade and commercial, premium windows, doors and conservatories currently enjoying rapid growth. Having closed temporarily at the end of March we are now fully operational and experiencing encouraging increases in volumes. Our site is fully COVID-19 secure.

As a result of our successful return to operations at our Wellingborough manufacturing facility we are looking for new team members to join our Production Team. Experience would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

To assist with and, where necessary, manufacture quality windows and doors to customer requirements while adhering to standards of health & safety and internal processes.

What you'll be doing:

• Using power tools and machinery to make windows and doors
• Following job orders whilst ensuring quality standards are met
• Following and working to Health and Safety requirements, including wearing correct PPE
• Working to ensure that daily targets are met
• Meeting targets for production in a challenging physical environment; standing for long period and physical lifting.

You will have:

• A conscientious, reliable and enthusiastic attitude
• The ability to read and understand customer orders to include numerical and written information in order to achieve requirements
• The ability to understand spoken English
• A good understanding of Health and Safety requirements
• The ability to lift and manhandle windows and doors

Hours: Three shifts are available and overtime is normally available and expected to be worked

Days – 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday

Lates – 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday

Nights - 10.00pm to 6:00am Sunday to Thursday

Salary: £8.72 per hour plus shift premiums for Lates and Nights when trained.
