Acorn Aluminium are looking for an experienced and competent CNC Programmer/Operator to join the existing team. 

What you will be doing: 

• Using a multi-axis CNC machine
• Preparing window and door locking, draining and vent details on aluminium sections prior to fabrication 
• Interpreting fabrication drawings and making necessary adjustments to route details from a given datum
• Working to tight deadlines to ensure manufacturing requirements are met 

You will have:

• At least 12 months sole operation experience of a Pertici (or similar) CNC machine cutting window and door sections 
• Experience of both programming and using the machine to make the parts 
• Familiarity with Microsoft OS systems is an advantage 
• Confidence in working independently and as part of a team 
• High motivation and proven ability to work to tight deadlines

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 till 16:30 and Friday 08:00 till 15:30.  Extra hours on an overtime basis will be expected

Hourly Rate: up to £11.00 per hour, based on industry experience, and a great support package available including:.
