We are investing in our Software Engineering department capabilities as we enter an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our team to conduct automated and manual testing on the easyfundraising product. You will be expected to make an active contribution to all Agile rituals, as well as assist the team wherever needed on a day-to-day basis, using your testing skills.

Position

Reporting into the Lead QA Engineer, you will work on a scrum focused projects, as well as assist the team wherever needed on a day-to-day basis, using your Automation and Manual testing skills, and coding for automating the UI/API applications.


Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with developers, business analysts and other delivery team members to ensure quality of the new Change and overall platform solution.
  • Collaborate with Engineers and Product management to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Convert manual written test cases into Automation Scripts, maintain the automation test cases and execute
  • Create and maintain custom test automation frameworks.
  • Creation and maintenance of tests in Webdriverio using Javascript, Appium, TestNg and Cucumber
  • Working closely with stakeholders and QA Lead to provide extensive automation coverage

Requirements

  • Previous experience of writing test cases
  • Practical experience of Test automation on a broad range of products
  • Good understanding of converting manual scripts into automation scripts
  • Ownership of automation scripts
  • Previous exposure to collaboration tools such as Jira and Xray.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript.

Salary: Up to £45,000 per year
