Dron & Dickson are specialists in integrated supply, installation and maintenance of harsh & hazardous electrical equipment. Based at five UK locations, we provide specialist E&I inspection, maintenance and project services to all parts of the Offshore & Onshore Energy sector, Pharmaceutical and Marine industries. Managed from our UK locations, our services operate within the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Position

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure consistent delivery of customer service and to proactively contribute to the Engineering Service department strategy.

Objective: The primary objective of this role is to lead all appointed client logistic operations within the department to achieve customer satisfaction inline with company strategy.

Core Alignment Responsibilities:

Role Responsibilities:

Project Planning

  • Communicate regularly with client planning/logistic departments
  • Attend the weekly D&D planning meetings
  • Ensure Dron & Dickson personnel and equipment resources meet mobilization requirements.
  • Coordination of field Personnel
  • Assist with recruitment
  • Manage visa applications
  • Work closely with the HR & training department to ensure that all technican trainning & refreshers are booked in a timely manner in accordance with offshore mobilisation dates
  • Arrange travel and accommadation as required, ensuring travel is arranged as per contractual and operational requirments and in line with work instructions
  • Provide COVID travel advice, to ensure no delays to mobilisations / demobilisations
  • Update the Offshore/Onshore Personnel Tracker (Project Planner)
  • Liaise with offshore personnel and provide required crew change details and information
  • Manage IR35 requirements to ensure compliance and complete status determinations in line with the statement of work and mobilisation dates

Cost Control

  • Approving and processing all travel related invoices

Project Management

  • Maintain communications with onshore/offshore internal/external team via meetings/electronic/voice conference
  • Ensure that manpower are readily available in line with business needs
  • Communicate regularly with the D&D project coordinators on manpower status

Project Quality Management

  • Adhere to the client/D&D Management Systems, regulations and strategies.
  • Input holiday requests
  • Promote continuous improvement and development of the company’s systems and processes.
  • Update Vantage with new starts

Other

  • To maintain good communications with internal and external clients
  • To take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and development of the company’s systems and processes
  • Ad hoc duties as requested by management
  • Travel may be necessary to ensure delivery of business needs.
  • Social and business networking is expected
  • Participate in On Call Rotation

Core Training & Competencies:

  • Minimum Standard Grades or GCSE’s
  • Experience in a similar role is essential

Contracted Hours: 38.25 hours per week with 45 mins for lunch

Hours of work:

  • Mon to Thurs:8.30am – 5pm
  • Fri:8.30am – 4.30pm
