Dron & Dickson are specialists in integrated supply, installation and maintenance of harsh & hazardous electrical equipment. Based at five UK locations, we provide specialist E&I inspection, maintenance and project services to all parts of the Offshore & Onshore Energy sector, Pharmaceutical and Marine industries. Managed from our UK locations, our services operate within the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Position

The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate the invoicing & financial job reporting of engineering work scopes to provide accurate data for management reporting. Efficiency & accuracy of the role adds value in the form of cash inflow from invoicing and improved management reports, both of which enhance the resources available to Dron & Dickson to achieve its purpose.

Objective: The primary objective of this role is to ensure accurate and efficient invoicing to customers in line with contractual requiremnts and provide holiday and absence cover for the accounts payable team.

Requirements

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for production of all ES manpower invoicing in line with contractual terms & conditions
  • Individual Client PO Spend Reporting/Forecasting on a monthly & ad-hoc basis
  • Assist with month end process ensuring all revenue & costs are input for accruals
  • Provide holiday and absence cover within accounts payable when required
  • Provide support to the Project Cost Accountant as directed
  • Provide Ad-hoc Financial Support to ES dept as required
  • Provide cover for various roles within the finance team as required and in line with training received
  • Adhere to company confidentiality policy as set out in contract of employment, with particular emphasis on non-divulgence of sensitive financial information to anyone outside the finance dept
  • To maintain good communications with internal and external clients, particularly Engineering Services Project Coordinators
  • To take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and development of the company’s systems and processes
  • Ad hoc duties as requested by management
  • Travel may be necessary to ensure delivery of business needs.

Contracted Hours: 38.25 hours per week with 45 mins for lunch

Hours of work:

  • Mon to Thurs: 8.30am – 5pm
  • Fri: 8.30am – 4.30pm
