Dron & Dickson are specialists in integrated supply, installation and maintenance of harsh & hazardous electrical equipment. Based at five UK locations, we provide specialist E&I inspection, maintenance and project services to all parts of the Offshore & Onshore Energy sector, Pharmaceutical and Marine industries. Managed from our UK locations, our services operate within the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia.


Position

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure consistent delivery of customer service and to proactively contribute to the Engineering Service department strategy.


Objective: The primary objective of this role along with the document control all H&S Paperwork from Site technicians is to assist with all client logistic operations within the department to achieve customer satisfaction in line with company strategy.

Reporting to: Engineering Services UK Manager.


Direct Reports: None.


Core Alignment Responsibilities:

• Understand and support the company's mission, vision, and values.

• Responsibility of personal learning, development and KPI completion

• Promote and proactively adhere to the company’s core values in all day-to-day activities and interactions.


Role Responsibilities:


Planning

• Communicate regularly with client planning/logistic departments

• Attend the weekly D&D planning meetings.

• Assist with visa applications.

• Arrange travel for business and training needs.

• Maintain IR35 Compliance.

• Provide cover in the absence of the Personnel Logistics with coordination of site personnel.


Cost Control

• Identify cost saving opportunities.


Project Management

• Maintain communications with onshore/offshore internal/external team via meetings/electronic/voice conference.

• Prepare and deliver formal monthly reports as requested.

• Collate all departmental Health & Safety/Rope Access paperwork.

• Document control inclduing end of trip paperowrk, and management of registers as required.

• Manage monthly rope hours tracker to ensure techncicnas are within 6 months for rope activity.

• Submit quartley Safety stastitics to Irata.

• Format CVs as required for submiison to Tenders and Clients


Project Quality Management

• Adhere to the client/D&D Management Systems, regulations and strategies.

• Promote continuous improvement and development of the company’s systems and processes.


Other

• Compile Department reports as required.

• To maintain good communications with internal and external clients

• To take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and development of the company’s systems and processes

• Ad hoc duties as requested by management.

• Travel may be necessary to ensure delivery of business needs.

• Social and business networking is expected.

• Participate in On Call Rotation


HSEQ Responsibilities:

• Comply with all Dron & Dickson’s integrated managements system including all policies and Procedures.

• Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety, and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.

• Act ethically and with integrity

• Ensure all health and safety training is undertaken.

• Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.

• Keep up to date with industry legislation.

• Compliance with IRATA ICOP, Bylaws, Memorandum and Articles of Association, TACS and any other relevant national legislation

• Manage IRATA membership – Annual Declaration form, IRATA Quarterly Statistics etc.

• Recording and reporting of all Rope Access related incidents/accidents using the correct IRATA forms

Requirements

Core Skills:

• Computer literate on all windows 365 applications

Core Training & Competencies:

• Minimum Standard Grades or GCSE’s

• Experience in Personnel Logistics is desirable.

• IR35 Training

Contracted Hours: 38.25 hours per week with 45 mins for lunch


Hours of work:

  • Mon to Thurs: 8.30am – 5pm
  • Fri: 8.30am – 4.30pm
