Position

JOB PURPOSE

Supports the inquiry process for new and existing customers, starting from the provision of information on products, services, process and procedures until the application and submission of business set-up applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grow the customer base for the new customs solutions product
  • Identify target customers and market segments for product
  • Produce analysis to justify sales strategy
  • Monitor competitive environment to ensure pricing strategy is effective
  • Identify and qualify leads ensuring CRM is updated with regular reporting to the CNS Head of Commercial
  • Working with relevant internal resource or consultants to drive effective MarComms campaigns to position product
  • Support wider commercial team activities for other complimentary products looking for cross-sell opportunities

Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Educated to a high standard with 3 good ‘A’ levels as a minimum, or equivalent experience
  • Strong commercial or sales background
  • Extensive shipping, transport and logistics experience with a knowledge of customs/regulatory processes
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills, comfortable public speaking Strong sales negotiation skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Clear business acumen and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with good time management

Other information

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

SALARY: Competitive, depending upon experience
